Weavers in Ahuiran

Synopsis
Weaving is the main source of income for the Purhépecha women in Ahuiran, Michoacán, Mexico. While their husbands often work as migrants outside the village, the women have to look after their families. The film shows the women at work, the children helping them, and Margarita speaks about their various economic problems. Filmed in 1989.
