Weapons in Space

Synopsis
The US Union of Concerned Scientists organised a conference to discuss President Reagan’s ‘Star Wars’ concept. Many of the most distinguished American scientists and also former top military men participated and concluded that it was an unworkable idea with many dangerous implications. As well as extracts from speeches, the film also contains sequences explaining the history and concept of the new doctrine.
