Weapons: A Battle for Humanity

Synopsis
Shows the suffering that has been caused by specific types of weapons, what has been done in the past to ban such weapons as dum-dum bullets and poison gas, and what must still be done through international agreements to prevent future disasters. Two important initiatives are dealt with in particular: a proposal to ban the production and trade in anti-personnel mines and an appeal to prohibit blinding as a method of warfare. The film is made up of individual sequences that can be shown separately or as a whole.
