Water Treatment

Synopsis
Follows the South Staffordshire Water Company’s water purification processes from collection from the river through clarification, filtration, disinfection and distribution. Also shows the relatively new techniques of air flotation in the clarification stages and the use of granular activated carbon in filtration. At every stage of the treatment the water is carefully monitored and tested.
