- Synopsis
- 'Warwork News’ is a series of short newsreels produced during World War 2 for distribution in British factories. 1) ‘There’s not much women can’t do’: a long item on the various jobs being performed by women. The commentary shows surprise at the strength and skill displayed by these workers. 2) ‘You are sending them the tools’: an account of the arrival of a convoy carrying troops and supplies at a North African port and of the enemy air attack that followed.
