War Comes to Kenya
- Synopsis
- Kenya’s contribution is seen as predominantly that of the white population. Whilst the menfolk fight, the women are mobilised as drivers and nurses. Some Masai tribespeople are shown giving cash and cattle to the war fund. The advance of the British and South African armies into Italian held territory is covered, ending with the recapture of Addis Abada and the return of Haile Selassie.
