Walking on Water

Synopsis
Looks at wave physics and explains how the shape and depth of the bay plays a key role in determining the shape of a wave. Also shows how a better understanding of physics is allowing improved surf-boards to be designed and how an understanding of wave mechanics can mean the difference in major competitions. Also examines the space-age materials being used to build boards now and looks to the future and the creation of artificial wavepools.
