Synopsis
In the 1960s gynaecologists Reg and Catherine Hamlin left Sydney for a three-year contract in Addis Ababa that turned into a lifetime’s commitment. Shows the hospital they build and meets some of the 14,00 poor women they have helped. They use a mix of modern and traditional treatments for fistula, a condition caused by complications of pregnancy and childbirth.
