An impressionistic survey of Wales at war. Shows industries revitalised by the war effort: steelworks, dockyards, quarries and pitheads at the Rhondda mines. Includes footage of Wales during the depression with a plea that such hardships should not return: ‘Remember the march of the old young men: it shall not happen again’.
