14 Days in May

Alternative title
Fourteen Days in May
Synopsis
Records the last 14 days in the life of death row inmate Edward Earl Johnson, up until 15 minutes prior to his execution in May 1987. Shows how a scheduled execution affects prisoners, prison personnel and the prisoner’s family. By showing the series doubts about Johnson’s guilt and the way that crucial evidence was not produced, it presents a strong argument against the death penalty.
