14 Days in May
- Alternative title
- Fourteen Days in May
- Synopsis
- Records the last 14 days in the life of death row inmate Edward Earl Johnson, up until 15 minutes prior to his execution in May 1987. Shows how a scheduled execution affects prisoners, prison personnel and the prisoner’s family. By showing the series doubts about Johnson’s guilt and the way that crucial evidence was not produced, it presents a strong argument against the death penalty.
