Synopsis: Comprises digitised transverse image data made from head-to-toe sections of male and female cadavers. The Visible Human Project was created to provide anatomically detailed images suitable for constructing three-dimensional representations of the male and female human bodies.
1: Transverse data on more than 1800 millimetre-thick sections with digitised photographic images for each section.
2: Due to a greater number of transverse sections this dataset is contained on 20 tapes.
