Synopsis: A survey of the naval-military highlights of World War 2 as shown on NBC in 1952. Fear, courage and suffering of both sides are handled vividly and realistically. Original musical score by Richard Rodgers. The HEFVL film is a shortened version put together in 1966. The full series is on six videos or DVDs:
