Synopsis

Methods of recording and studying some of the rock engravings in the ‘Vallée des Merveilles’ in the Alpes-Maritimes. Several styles have been defined, corresponding with different periods of the Bronze Age. The topographical distribution is a clue to the interpretation of their significance.
