Use of Packages to Manage and Analyse Social Data, The

Synopsis
Guides students through the processes of preparing data for analysis, using procedures to perform data analysis and data selection and manipulation. The modules are intended to be ‘generic’ in that their presentation should be applicable to any general purpose social science data analysis package. The modules present and itnroduce general procedures and issues wich would then have specific application to the package being taught. In three modules: data input; data nalysis with a social science package; data selection and manipulation. Intended t complement formal teaching. Approximately six hours of teaching material.
