Synopsis

Since 1970 the British government has supported projects in which local authorities, private enterprise and the volunrary services have worked together to improve the quality of life and economic conditions in cities suffering from the decline of industry and resulting high unemployment. Shows Bradford and Portsmourth as examples of how urban regeneration is working.
