Unijet: Managing Communication

Alternative title
Working Holiday
Synopsis
A video-based training package to help managers to effectively manage workplace communications. Part 1 follows Terry Brown, Commercial Director of tour operator Unijet, as he spends a week as a tour representative in Tenerife. Shows his immediate reactions to working with the public, how he learned to cope, and how he aimed to resolve the problems when he resumed his managerial post. Part 2 translates these events into training topics: raising people’s awareness of different points of view held within one company; improving managers’ understanding of how different business areas work together; exploring alternative ways of handling different situations; relating the possibilities to similar situations in their own work.
