Synopsis
A video-based training resource designed to facilitate the recognition and treatment of depression in people with learning disabilities. The programme uses the story ‘Feeling Blue’ and a short drama enacted by people with learning disabilities to convey the motions involved and emphasise the key points. Topics include: features of depressing; expressing feelings; access to services; causes and outcomes of depression; issues for medical students.
