Ulnar Nerve Palsy: Palliative Treatment

Synopsis
The ulnar nerve governs the movement of all the fingers, the flexion of the proximal phalanx, and the extension of the distal phalanges. It also supplies power to the thumb in prehension. Capsulorraphy of the metacarpo-phalangeal joints helps to palliate ulnar palsy. The film shows the various stages of this operation and the results obtained in two patients.
