Ugliest Show on Earth, The

Synopsis
For 18 months field officers of the Animal Defenders organisation worked undercover in British circuses, filming evidence of unsatisfactory conditions and cruel treatment. This film shows a sample of the findings, including animals chained and confined for hours on end, elephants beaten with iron bars, a baby chimpanzee kicked and thrashed with a whip, camels beaten with broom handles and tigers jabbed with tent poles.
