True Glory, The

Synopsis
Uses the actual voices of British and American soldiers as commentary to describe the campaign from D-Day, in Normandy to the fall of Berlin, including the Falaise Gap, Caen, Arnhem, the liberation of Paris and the Battle of the Bulge. Based on material photographed by combat cameramen of the USA, Canada, France, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Czechoslovakia, Norway and Great Britain. The film is introduced by General Eisenhower. Carol Reed and Paddy Chayevsky’s contributions to the film were uncredited.
