Synopsis
A programme on 20th-century history that aims to help students develop and understanding of the struggle for peace in the 20th century through role play, investigation and decision making. In three parts: Struggle for Peace, in which the user selects a role and a time period and is asked to make decisions; Superpower Relations in which the user chooses an issue and is asked to analyse the actions of the politicians who have dealt with it; Societies in Change in which the user can study the economy, society, people, power or international relations of Russia, Germany or the USA, assisted by text, photographs, video clips and sound recordings.
