Synopsis
A play premiered at the 1988 Edinburgh Festival Fringe as part of the programme by Artists for El Salvador. It depicts the diverse experiences of women in Central America, through one articulate peasant woman’s struggle to overcome poverty, illiteracy, continual child bearing and the cult of machismo.
