Synopsis
Documents the rapid deforestation of Africa and analyses various solutions such as shifting to solar energy and improving traditional stores. Shot in Niger, Mali, Sengal and Nigeria, it shows how people are taught to plant their own trees for firewood and construction material. It illustrates the links between desertification, energy and the environment.
