Translations: Engineering Design 2020 AD

Synopsis: A view of the future of engineering design in the form of a dramatisation of a dinner party taking place in the year 2020, hosted by an eminent engineer and at which the guests are fellow engineers. In the course of conversation each guest comments on his or her approach to engineering design, and, for illustration, the video frequently dissolves into an actual design office. One concept that seemed to permeate much of the discussion was the urgent need to support collaboration between experts of various kinds, and between them and sources of data and expertise, by building bridges or translations between them.
