Synopsis
Two activities designed as science learning resources: 1) An Element on the Move: investigates the earth’s natural carbon cycle. One can explore the multiplicity of ways in which carbon moves through the environemnt; 2) Global Warming and Cooling: uses two different climatic models to demonstrate how a variety of factors affect the earth’s surface temperature. One can also explore the role of computer modelling in explaining and predicting climate change.
