Together They Stand
- Synopsis
- A study shot in Kenya of dwarf mongooses. Shows how a female leads a band (an extended family of 12-14 members) in a unique and highly organised society in which only she and a senior male may breed, and the others fulfil designated roles as, for example, foragers, lookouts, babysitters, soldiers. At the end of the film large flocks of quelea birds are seen arriving and surrounding the mound with thousands of nests.
