Times of Harvey Milk, The

Synopsis
Set in San Francisco in the 1970s, tells of the rise to power of Harvey Milk who became one of the city’s most colourful and influential elected officials as well as one of the decades’s most prominent leaders of the lesbian and gay rights movement. Milk was assassinated in his office at City Hall by Dan White, ex-supervisor and former policeman. Follows White’s resignation, the assassination, the trial and the protests against the lenient sentence passed on White.
