Synopsis
A tribute to the British housewife. Set in the format of a day in the life of a ‘typical’ household, shows how the housewife/mother has in her own way contributed much to the war effort. Unlike many of the wartime films produced by the Ministry of Information in which women were the central characters, this does not patronise.
