Synopsis

Demonstrates some of the principles of the therapeutic as opposed to the diagnostic interview. Illustrates how to begin and end an interview and gives some elementary advice on dealing with events in the main part of the interview. Uses illustrations by a patient simulated by Dr Vaughan to make its points.
