Synopsis: Part 1 shows how an environmental studies course was introduced into the curriculum at Thanet Junior High School, Hull. Shows how the planning, staff organisation, and the school’s environmental situation are considered in setting up such a course.
Part 2 shows the stage of development of the newly set up Environmental Studies Course one academic term after conception. Includes interviews with staff and pupils and there is an assessment of the work undertaken.
