Synopsis
An introduction to the terminology and classification of world vegetation systems, presenting a problem-orientated approach to vegetation mapping. The student is asked to construct an hierarchical concept thesaurus of biome types from an alphabetical list of relevant terms. Approximately one hour of teaching material.
