Alternative title
Crawling About
Synopsis
A video-based management training package on the importance of staff development. In Part 1 Peter Cottee, Managing Director pest-control firm Terminix Peter Cox Ltd, spends a week as a pest control technician visiting domestic and business customers in order to find out how his organisation looks after its staff. He returns to his management team to confront them with the failings of the current communication programme, low morale, and the cost of high staff turnover. The second programme develops Cottee’s experiences into topics dealing with employee relationships and communication problems, focusing on business objectives, staff development and communication. It also exaines how managers must improve their ability to lead, motivate and manage their staff.
