Synopsis

An electronic ear-nose-throat atlas of continuous cross-sections. Contains 9000 images of normal anatomy with 1200 correlative images from CT, MRI and histology, enabling the interactive exploration of the major structures of the temporomandibular joint, tympanic cavity, labyrinth facial cana, parapharyngeal space and skull base (from sella turcica to foramen magnum). Also includes Mallory-stained histological images in sagittal direction from the same head. All structures are displayed as continuous cross-sectional photographs in coronal, sagittal and axial directions. The images can be displayed as stills or video.
