Television Narration and Editing

Synopsis
Shows how to synchronise narration with pictures, not only to get the words to fit the pictures, but also how to make the images more interesting as a result of the words. Excess commentary annoys by its verbosity: too little starves viewers of information. This tape shows how to make a shot list efficiently, how to write the script, how to avoid wasting money in an on-line suite, how to approach the picture editor, and how to avoid using a stopwatch when writing a script. It reveals some of the key differences between the production of videos and films in terms of editing.
