- Training in the use of fire extinguishers, explaining the British Standard fire extinguisher colour coding (BS EN3 introduced in January 1997). Explains fully the safety considerations to be taken before and while fighting a fire, how the different equipment works and the correct method of applying the contents of the different extinguishers so that the fire is put out as quickly as possible. Equipment shown includes water extinguishers and fire blankets, foam branch and spray extinguishers, dry powder and carbon dioxide.
