System and High Level Design
- Synopsis
- Teaching and learning material covering specification, architectural design, decomposition and synthesis, centred on the use of VHDL. Support material is provided to back-up that contained in the main courseware modules. This includes extended explanations, synthesis restrictions om VHDL, simulation characteristics, glossaries and reference material on the use of VHDL. The courseware complements traditional methods of teaching and learning such as lectures and tutorials and is primarily intended for use by students as a self-study learning aid. It can also be used for demonstration purposes within lectures, tutorials and laboratory sessions.
