Big Flame, The

Synopsis
Traces the progress of a strike in Loverpool’s docks following the Devlin Report, which advocated the abolition of casual labour. The workers take over Liverpool docks. The central figure is a ‘militant’ and self-styled Trotskyist, who is brought in by the rank-and-file committee to advise on the running of the strike.
