- Concerned with breast cancer in progression towards the terminal stage, the patient, the family, and the function of the self-help group in support. Demonstrates the needs of a cancer patient with recurrent disease, and the support given by a PLUS member with training. (PLUS is a self-help association for people in pain from cancer and other painful illnesses. It offers support in chronic and terminal illness through local groups, which organise their own activities, with PLUS providing the training.)
