Supervision in Action: The Cd-Rom

Synopsis

Interactive scenarios featuring midwives and their supervisors facing some of the difficult decisions that can arise in midwifery practice. The user works through these scenarios, deciding what the midwife or supervisor should do. As each story develops the consequences of the user’s choices become clear and at the end, the decisions are analysed. The aim is to help the user develop and understanding of the challenges facing midwifery today and how supervision supports the midwife in practice. The CD-ROM also includes the text of the ENB booklets ‘Supervision in Action’ and ‘Advice and Guidance’.
