Synopsis
Covers developments up to 1993 resulting from an accident in July 1988 in the town of Camelford, Cornwall, when a lorry driver poured 20 tonnes of aluminium sulphate into the water treatment plant that supplies the town. Covers a meeting where local residents confront the water authority two months after the accident, an interview with the chairman of South West Water in which he refuses to accept responsibility, an interview with Dame Barbara Clayton who chaired a government committee investigating the accident, and the effects the incident had on some local people who drank the contaminated water. Also contains an interview with Stephen Dorrell MP.
