Synopsis
Concerned with how lecturers see their lecturing. Discusses lecturers’ responses to a series of attitudinal and behavioural questions and shows which areas reveal significant differences between different styles of lecturing. Identifies five distinct styles of lecturing: visual information giver, oral presenter, exemplary performer, eclectic lecturer, and amorphous talker. Describes these types and explores their links to different subject areas and other variables (e.g. status and experience).
