Sts-61: Mission Highlights

Synopsis
The STS-61 mission of the space shuttle ‘Endeavour’ launched on 2 December 1993. This 11-day flight was to include the repair of the faulty Hubble Space Telescope. Major elements included changing the solar arrays and replacement of the Wide Field Planetary Camera with one that corrected the Hubble mirror by reconfiguring the relay mirrors.
