Synopsis
Introduces decision analysis and shows it in use in the USA at the New England Medical Center and in genetic counselling. Concentrates on the way decision trees are used to structure complex decisions. The general principles of decision trees are introduced using a model. Discussions and expositions are set in the context of a discourse between a judgment analyst and a doctor.
