Strains and Sprains

Synopsis

Part 1 deals with acute injuries emphasising the need to study the mechanism of injury apart from making a specific diagnosis by detailed history and examination prior to starting treatment. Uses the sprained ankle and injuries to the soft tissue of the lower limb as examples. Part 2 deals with chronic problems and demonstrates more detailed mechanical corrections, particularly as they apply to the achilles tendon and lateral epicondyle.
