Synopsis
Begins with the analysis of a sample of molten steel, using spectroscopy on a computer-assisted automatic basis, then considers the interpretation of spectra. Then, in a sequence recorded at the University of London Observatory, the information that can be obtained from the spectroscopy of stars is examined.
