Statistics for the Terrified V3.0

Synopsis
A statistics training package that sets out basic statistical concepts by presenting opportunities to experiment with data and to explore the patterns thus created. It is a non-mathematical, non-theoretical approach in eight sections: simple data description; how to choose a test; What does ‘p<0.05’ actually mean?; testing for the differences between groups; analysing repeated measures; analysing 2x2 classification tables; fitting lines to data; uncovering hidden influences. Because the package was developed for medical students, the examples relate to biomedical situations.
