Start from Scratch
- Synopsis
- The biology of the cat flea, today’s commonest flea, is dealt with using macro- and microphotography. In the light of this information, control measures are very briefly described. The history of man’s involvement with fleas, both fact and fable, is discussed, particularly their role as transmitters of plague and the cat tapeworm ('Diphylidium caninum’).*
