Part 2 (1987): Pictures from the Anglo-Australian Telescope. Includes slides of Halley’s Comet, many different emission nebulae (e.g.Rosette Nebula, the Horsehead Nebula in Orion), some reflection nebulae and other galaxies. Includes slides of the 23rd February 1987 star explosion in the Large Magellanic Cloud (the first bright supernova to appear since the invention of the telescope).
