Synopsis
Covers the work of Peter Brook at the Centre for International Theatre Creations (CICT) during a tour of Australia.The Centre was formed in Paris in 1970 and brought together performers and musicians of 18 nationalities. The film shows excerpts of performances from their repertoire presented at the Adelaide Festival ('L’Os’, ‘Ubu’, ‘Ik’, ‘Conference of the Birds’). An abandoned quarry in the hills outside Adelaide provided the space for the performances.
