Synopsis
Includes sections on satellite design and space telecommunications including footage of the large space simulator at the European Space Agency laboratories. Space telecommunications are dealt with mainly through the space exploration gallery at the Science Museum. Electrophoresis, ion drives and the enhancement and application of images from satellites are also discussed. Two versions of the programme are provided on the cassette, the second abridged from the first and suitable for classes up to the fifth year.
